The animated backgrounds on the homepage are generative experiments — starfields, flocking, reaction–diffusion, a spiral galaxy, and more — built collaboratively with Claude. They aren't "projects" of mine so much as toys to explore. Click any one to see it full-screen behind the star.
- Starfield A field of stars that fades in along a saturating curve, each tinted by its own blackbody temperature.
- Spiral Galaxy Stars on tilted orbits nesting into density-wave spiral arms — a hot blue core fading to a warm rim.
- Nebula Layered drifting interstellar gas in warm and cool hues with parallax depth, scattered with stars.
- Gravity A swarm of bodies orbiting unseen attractors, trailing light — coloured from slow (warm) to fast (cool).
- Flow Field Thousands of particles drifting along an animated noise field, trailing colour that shifts with direction.
- Boids Flocking agents that align, group, and avoid — each coloured by heading, so turning the flock shifts its hue.
- Game of Life Conway's cellular automaton — bordered cells that inherit a parent's colour when born, so hues drift across the grid.
